What is Done During A Spring Clean Up

When working on your Spring clean up we look at removing debris, broken branches and any other items that need to be removed due to the cold weather and winds from the previous winter.

We break out our equipment and make sure your lawn is ready for any treatments you choose for the upcoming season.

You can always add any additional services such as Aeration, Dethatching, Fertilization and Overseeding to ensure that your lawn will look its best for the summer.

What is Done During a Fall Clean Up?

Fall clean-ups may include:

  • Cutting the grass
  • Removal of any leaves
  • Weed Control
  • Fertilizing
  • Pruning of trees and removal of branches
  • Cleaning up lawn debris

When should I start taking care of my lawn in spring?

It's important for your lawn to wait till the temperatures are above zero degrees for at least a few days before you start taking care of your lawn. At this temperature the grass will be strong enough to endure a good raking and it will be ready to be aerated and fertilized. As clean up season can be busy, be sure to contact us a few weeks before this time so we can schedule your spring clean up.

When should you start your spring clean up?

The starting of a spring cleanup should be done once most of the snow has melted and the weather is above zero degrees. As spring clean up can take quite a bit of time, we suggest you schedule this once this snow has started to melt. For those who have cabins, we suggest you contact us 1-2 weeks before you expect to open up your cabin so we can make sure everything is ready once you're ready to open everything up for the season.
